# Blind Cap Mechanics

How the blind cap works, and how it benefits investors.

## Minimum Raise Case

The minimum raise for the ICO is **$750,000**.

If we raise below that amount, the raise is canceled and all of the funds are returned to participants in USDC on Solana.

If we raise exactly $750,000, then the allocation is:

* **25%** to ICO participants
* **7.25%** for liquidity
* **67.75%** for the team performance package, which unlocks over time and based on token price performance.

## Meeting The Cap

We also have what’s called a **blind cap**, which is essentially the maximum amount that will be raised.

We don’t publicly state that number, because we don’t want whales or snipers simply waiting until the end to capture an oversized allocation.

As commitments increase above $750,000 and up to the blind cap, we increase the percentage allocated to the ICO while decreasing the team performance allocation proportionally.

As an example, let’s say the blind cap were **$1.5 million**.

{% hint style="info" %}
This is not confirmation or denial of the blind cap amount; it’s purely illustrative.
{% endhint %}

If we raised exactly $1.5M:

* **50%** would go to ICO participants.
* **7.25%** would still go to liquidity.
* **42.75%** would go to the team performance package.

And of course, if the amount raised lands somewhere between the minimum and the blind cap, those percentages interpolate linearly.

## Exceeding The Cap

If commitments exceed the blind cap, the standard way it's handled is with proportional allocations.

For example, if the blind cap were $1.5 million but $6 million were committed, everyone would receive roughly 25% of the allocation they requested.

So if someone committed $1,000, they’d receive approximately $250 worth of the ICO allocation.

### Priority for Laso Users

We do have one small modification to that process. We prioritize *existing Laso Finance users*.

It’s very important to us that the people who have been using Laso all this time are prioritized if the raise is oversubscribed.

We're going to prioritize existing Laso users and try to get them as close to a full allocation as possible. Within that group, we’ll further prioritize users who have longer account histories and higher levels of activity on the platform.
